Dr. Carlin Weaver - Full Bio

Dr. Carlin Weaver is one of the select few board-certified orthodontists in the area. She grew up in Swampscott and attended Tufts for both dental school and orthodontic residency, where she graduated at the top of her dental school class and was president of her residency class. She received the prestigious “Ten Under Ten” award by the Massachusetts Dental Society and has been featured in Boston Magazine as a “Top Dentist” for eight consecutive years. Dr. Weaver has completed additional training in orthodontics for sleep-disordered breathing and is passionate about helping children breathe properly! She loves technology and the convenience it offers her patients - she loves digital orthodontics (clear aligners and custom braces), offers Dental Monitoring to allow more flexibility for her patients, and uses custom, clear 3D printed Lightforce braces. Dr. buck weaver

Dr. Buck Weaver attended Emory Dental School and practiced as a dentist in the U.S. Navy before studying orthodontics at Boston University. He founded Weaver Orthodontics and was the captain of this ship for 45 years - and now is retired and living his best life! He lives in Swampscott for half the year and Key West for the other half, and you’ll never see him without his beloved dog, Bentley (and probably his wife, Casey). He enjoys cheering for his beloved Boston sports teams, scuba diving, and playing with his grandson. He is known all around town for being a kind, gentle soul - and Dr. Carlin will never tire of hearing “Your dad is sooo nice!”.

Ashley started her dental assisting career in pediatrics, and when she was introduced to orthodontics she fell in love with the specialty! She graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Northern Essex Community College. Ashley also runs our Dental Monitoring program—our at-home dental scanning system—helping patients stay on track with their treatment from anywhere. When she’s not in the office, you can find Ashley spending time with her dog Bella, her adorable son, or trying a new local restaurant.

Emily orthodontic assistant

Emily is an enthusiastic Orthodontic Dental Assistant who discovered her passion for orthodontics through her work in pediatrics. She graduated from Essex Tech’s Dental Assisting program in Danvers, MA, where she built a solid foundation in dental care. Emily is always eager to learn new techniques and stay current with advancements, she is dedicated to providing the best care for her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and going to the gym, balancing her professional drive with personal interests.

Keisha Financial Coordinator

Keisha has been in the dental industry for five years and brings more than ten years of customer service experience. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment and making every patient feel like family. Outside of the office, Keisha enjoys traveling to new destinations, spending quality time with her two children and making lasting memories, exploring new coffee shops and matcha drinks, and growing her perfume collection. She also loves spending time in nature, attending concerts, and discovering new hobbies. If you ever want to talk about Stranger Things, Keisha will happily join the conversation!

Patty orthodontic assistant

Patty brings warmth and experience to our team every day! After graduating from Porter and Chester in 2013 for Dental Assisting, she gained years of experience assisting in both orthodontics and general dentistry. Her kind, patient personality helps patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visits. When she’s not in the office, Patricia enjoys bike riding and spending time with the two sons who mean the world to her!

Cathy Office manager

Cathy brings over 30 years of management experience and has been part of the orthodontic field since 2008. She loves being a small part of the life-changing transformations patients experience through the beautiful smiles Dr. Weaver creates for each patient. One of Cathy’s greatest joys is being a proud mom to her son, Noah, and she’s especially excited to celebrate his upcoming marriage to Emily, his high school sweetheart, this year.
Outside the office, Cathy enjoys riding her bike, spending time with her sassy mini golden retriever, Marty Pants, and recently started getting into building LEGO sets.

JESSICA Treatment Coordinator

Jessica has been in the dental field for over 10 years! She fell in love with the orthodontic field and enjoys empowering her patients with confidence through their smile. She earned her Orthodontic Assisting Certification in 2014. Jessica likes to express her creativity through photography, capturing special moments before they become memories!

MEGAN Administrative/Marketing Coordinator

Megan graduated from Salem State University in 2020 with a BFA in Stage Management for the Theatre, and uses all she learned in coordinating a show to coordinate the day-to-day needs at the front desk! When not working, Megan loves trying new board games and playing with her cat Mona Lisa.

SARAH CLINICAL COORDINATOR

Sarah brings the energy every day! Her upbeat and friendly personality instantly puts everyone at ease. As our clinical coordinator, she keeps the show running smoothly behind the scenes and makes sure everything stays on track. When she’s not at the office, Sarah loves getting lost in a good book or audiobook. She also enjoys seasonally flavored coffee, watching The Office, and spending time with her children!
